After decades as a therapist, in 2017 I began shifting my work to women and leadership.
At first, I thought I wore a completely new hat. After all, in my private practice, I had helped clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship struggles.
In coaching, I help people with work dynamics.
I soon realized that although the presenting challenges in therapy and coaching are quite different, the work we do together is still focused on resilience, communication, confidence, boundaries, transitions, assertiveness, interpersonal dynamics, and mindset.
Some coaching clients call it "work therapy," and most hire me because of my background.
People are people. We all have beliefs, thoughts, and patterns that work well and not so well. In coaching, we still address who you are, not only what you do or how you do it.
The tagline I've used for many years - creating success from the inside out - is one I continue to use, because it is still the work we do.
Regardless of the specific challenge or goal, we are always working from the inside out.
That is how true, sustainable success, growth, or change occurs.
